...lies Afghanistan. These are some pics iI took from the Pamir highway with my camera. Life looked very peaceful, in the biblical, bucolic sense of the word. I strongly wished I could visit this country. Technically, one can visit Afghanistan by just crossing one of the bridges. It may be harder crossing back to Tadjikistan though upon return. In that sense, I may one day come back, when things have calmed down a little, if they ever do...
